Your Rights & Program Information

About Our Apprenticeship

  • Our program is officially recognized as a Registered Apprenticeship by the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) and the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS).
  • This means it meets strict state and national standards and leads to a real credential and career in teaching.

Equal Opportunity

  • Everyone is welcome. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age (40+).
  • California law also protects against discrimination based on ancestry, marital status, gender expression, and medical condition.
  • We take action to make sure all applicants and apprentices have an equal chance to succeed.

What to Do If You Have a Complaint

  • If you believe you’ve been treated unfairly or discriminated against:
    • Contact us at communications@ccebos.org so we can help.
    • You can also file a complaint directly with the U.S. Department of Labor or California DAS.
  • For discrimination complaints, you have up to 300 days to file.
  • For other complaints in California (like program concerns), you usually have 30 days to file.

Accessibility & Accommodations

  • We are committed to making our website and programs accessible to everyone.
  • If you need help, we can provide:
    • Interpreters, alternate formats, or other supports — at no cost.
    • Language assistance if English is not your first language.
  • If you use a Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS), dial 7-1-1.

Funding Transparency

  • This program is funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
  • Some costs are covered by federal funds, and some by other partners.
  • The Department of Labor requires us to note that the views we share are our own and may not reflect the official position of the Department.

California Apprenticeship Oversight

  • Because this is a California-approved apprenticeship, we follow all DAS rules and equal opportunity standards.
