Q: Who can apply?
A: Community college transfers, university juniors/seniors, and paraprofessionals currently working in schools.

Q: Will my child have to take on student debt?
A: No. With stipends, tuition support, and paid apprenticeships, participants can graduate debt-free.

Q: How is this program different from traditional teacher prep?

Q: Is the program recognized?
A: Yes. This is a Registered Apprenticeship recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor and approved by California’s Division of Apprenticeship Standards — meaning it meets rigorous state and national standards.

🧑 Paraprofessionals & Career Changers

Q: What support will I get?
A: Every apprentice has a mentor teacher, success coaching, and dedicated advising to help navigate coursework and career development.

Q: How long will it take?
A: The timeline depends on your current college credits and degree progress, but the apprenticeship is designed to align with completing your bachelor’s degree and credential.

Q: What if my experience is in a field outside education?
A: Many skills from other fields translate well into teaching. For example, someone with experience in business brings organizational, communication, and leadership skills that can strengthen classroom management and curriculum delivery. The apprenticeship provides coaching and training to help connect your prior experience to the classroom, so you don’t start from zero — you build on what you already know.
