Program Status & Oversight

This is a Registered Apprenticeship program, registered for Federal purposes with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, and approved by the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS).

What is prohibited?

It is unlawful for a sponsor of a registered apprenticeship to discriminate against an applicant or apprentice on any of the protected bases listed above. This protection covers recruitment and selection; job assignments; wages and benefits; training; discipline; and all other terms and conditions of apprenticeship.

How to file an EEO discrimination complaint (29 CFR 30.14)

  • Deadline: Within 300 days of the alleged discrimination.
  • What to include: Your name and contact information, the program/sponsor you are complaining about, a description of what happened (including dates), and your signature.

  • For most non-EEO matters, file within 30 days of the alleged violation.
